Killing Obamacare

America, I’m getting screwed. I’m paying sixty (60) percent more for my health insurance now than I was in 2015. I checked this when I heard average costs are up 62 percent. It affects me, and it doesn’t help me and it doesn’t help you. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is coming apart at the seams. Premiums for healthcare plans sold through HealthCare.gov are projected to increase by an average of 22 percent next year—nearly triple the 7.5 percent increase from 2015 to 2016. This is on top of previous increases. America, we’re getting screwed.

The “regressives” state the conservatives don’t know how to govern. That’s true, but is leaving the country with $20 trillion in national debt, thousands of new regulations obstructing growth and flawed social justice policies good governing? It is enormously frustrating that conservatives can’t capture the moral high ground from the phony virtue-signaling factory that is the modern Democratic Party. Conservative policies not only work better but also are morally superior.

Democrats depend on clichés and false narratives to obstruct good government. They blame and shame Republicans from believing in their own agenda. This is apparent in the endless debate over the fate of Obamacare and the future of American health care.

Republicans Need to Grow Some Cajones

It is unconscionable that Republicans are unable to muster a simple majority to end the Obamacare monstrosity – a freakish beast that does everything it promised not to do and does little it promised to do, a gargantuan scam that is destroying our health care, eroding our liberty and punishing our economy. It’s a plan to complete Obama’s plan to fundamentally demolish America.

The Democratic Party is bankrupt. It is woefully out of ideas except for concocting ever more creative ways to demonize conservatives as bigots, thwart policies that could bring relief to the people it professes to champion, and to advance an agenda whose inevitable result is socialism – all while pretending to believe in free-market competition.

Democrats mouth such banalities as offering a “better deal,” which is the horrendous deal that is rotting the American system from the inside out. They are incapable of offering new ideas because they are ideologically and politically enslaved. Their worldview weds them to the historically discredited notion that great results flow from good intentions. Their lust for power impels them to exploit identity politics and perpetuate victimhood for the constituencies whose overwhelming support is essential to their political lifeblood.

For example, they can’t support decentralization and competition in education, no matter how much that could improve the lives of minorities trapped in inferior schools. They cannot support tax cuts even though cuts for higher-income earners help stimulate economic growth, which benefits all Americans. They cannot abandon their class-warfare strategy.

The Health Care Debacle

Democrat policies have brought total disaster but they will not acknowledge responsibility for these failures, much less join, in any way, those seeking solutions. And the RHINOs are ineffective in achieving relief for responsible citizens. The GOATs tell us they will work with Republicans to repair the glitches in Obamacare, but they have no intention on reforming this cancerous act.

The Republicans’ so-called “repeal and replace” proposals have not brought repeal, only proposed revisions. The GOATs will not even discuss them. In other words, except for their failed efforts to fully repeal the bill, all Republican proposals have been efforts not to completely end Obamacare but to make it worse.

Single Payer = Socialized Health Care

Democrats don’t want the Obamacare wealth redistribution scheme repealed unless they can get a single-payer system which is for socialized medicine. The GOATs have no intention of working with Republicans on this. And then there are the RHINOs who never intended to end this nightmare. The same ones who campaigned on the promise to repeal this miscreation.

There is nothing compassionate about what Democrats and their sanctimonious Republican frauds. It’s time for freedom-loving, people-loving Americans to turn the tables on these charlatans and recapture the moral high ground through aggressive and intelligent messaging.

Saving the Republic

We’ll never save our republic if we can’t make the case that government largesse is fundamentally destructive and incompetent, and that free market capitalism will produce results for all Americans. Socialism kills, impoverishes and enslaves. It masquerades as compassion but it only a scheme to control the masses.

“We the People” must disinfect this hideous immorality. It will take a majority of the more than 320 million American citizens to “Drain the Political Swamp.”
