Welcome, to another installment of LEARN 2 UNLEARN, brought to you courtesy of ShakeAndWake Radio !!
It’s wonderful to be back and I feel so privileged to keep being able to live a life-long dream of mine, not only to be able to speak into a live mic without stuttering, but also to prove them all wrong and learn how to read LIVE ON THE AIR… Wow. What a tall order!
I want to start as I love to do often, with a PRAYER, a universal one, for the Veterans and all those who gave so much… “… And some gave all.”
Do it anyway
“Your MONEY is not as good as our land…” is the next segment on the show, the truth about ‘treaties’ and theft of land and resources… as per usual.
I also read my writing of the week, The Soaring One, to end on a good note ?
In my MUSIC SEGMENT, I take the composition I wrote, T.I.M.E., to explain how music is such a powerful tool of expression, and this example is priceless. Also in this music segment, the moving CAT-CERTO is shared, and I do my best to go on a ‘cute’ tangent.
Another tragedy in the making, and once again the victim being a Native American writer, and what a writer she turns out to be, I share the story of Killers of The Flower Moon, only not the side we all see, no, a darker side, and a ‘much better’ original version, not spoken of… Truth Out!
In Honor of my Teachings, in the Mi’gmaq Tradition (Northern New-Brunswick, Canada), I share COLORS & DIRECTIONS, the telling of how we Pray, and why, what the ‘directions’ mean and how the way I was taught ‘is so different’ from so many others… and I guess that is why it is so special, and never changes over time!
