Welcome again to LEARN 2 UNLEARN, these are things we go through in the ‘learning curve’, as in everything, and so it goes.
Again, my nervousness goes away, and further away every show… What a feeling it is! Feeling more ‘relaxed’ is such a blessing! And I follow this with my DISCLAIMER taken (with permission) from Socrates!
EMPATHS: Observe, don’t absorb! is on the menu first, and the Powers of Healing that we all have, and how I have to stress, yet again, the need for us all to know the truth about who we are and how much potential power we could have, if we put our minds to it, and there is no better time than NOW to do it.
I am also touching on WHY Thoreau ‘went to the woods’, and why I stay ‘at home’ so much, far away from the DRAMA …
THE ROBIN, yes, my first sighting of the year, is on deck next, where we delve into the Spiritual, the world that was, and how it still can be in our lives, if we welcome it. Stories like these changed my life when I heard them.
The word PLAIN is dissected in this next segment, where I ‘really’ undress my soul (as they say in French) as I speak of INTENT, one of the most important words in my language, and where we can go to find ourselves, back to the simplest form of ‘being’, with a little history of ‘Canada’ and the ‘United-States’, and a dash of ‘Pow-Wow’ mixed in ~
All on a backdrop of a Gathering Song from the American Indian. Hard to hear at first because of internet drop-outs…
A few corrections of history are needed, especially when it concerns the Swastika, a Sacred, 12,000 year old symbol, also found on Buddha’s forehead, which is a symbol of integrity, purity and wisdom, which Hitler used for the symbol of his party in Germany.
How many people know the story of Adolph Hitler going to the Indians of the SouthWest here in this country, and ‘asking them for permission’ in order to use this sign for his party? …
THE SCHOOLBOARD MEETING is next, and I am so happy to address this one, a concerned citizen asking all sorts of questions, especially “WHY?” ~ about everything from the (adult) books themselves, to their MOTIVATION… Interesting, I thought.
And so I set out to answer at least four of his questions, as to “WHY”… as this is all part of The Protocols Of Zion…
Also Michael Moore makes his mark onstage at his acceptance of his award, something to see and hear… Like him or not, one of a kind …
THE MUSIC SEGMENT, a special one, is next, in dedicating it to a Special Soul in Gaza, in Palesteen (and yes, you read that right). An Elder gentleman names the country this way, and I find out why.
In Arabic, it is written Falesteen… So from now on, I am calling it not Palestine, but Palesteen, and with approval.
I address this Place, this Genocide, TWO of them, and the ongoing struggle for Justice coming through loud and clear in a street dance presentation of Palesteen Dubka, one of my friend Eman’s favorite songs, one that I have a hard time with emotions overcoming me when I listen to it, and when I see them dancing with so much joy, and in this instance, it is Christmas time for me … every time.
And on with the MUSIC SEGMENT we go… to NICKELBACK! And I tell another story about the joy of playing these songs on the drums… and also why I quit the bar scene!
Then, I share a good one and a funny one … SWEAR WORDS in French … Say what? You have to hear this one… And no, I won’t blow the surprise.
And although that image above of what I grew up with, Uderzo’s “Asterix et Obelix” is a European French cartoon, I chose this image because it fits the subject so well, as we address the hilarious Acadian/Quebecois/French-Canadian issue…
The show is always such a pleasure, with those ‘really’ listening and participating in the chat as always, a huge thank you to SHAKEANDWAKERADIO for making it my second home… (heart)
