LIKE A MAGGOT ON HOT ASPHALT – CRUZ GRILLS ZUCKERBERG OVER TARGETING CONVERVATIVES

Senator Ted Cruz makes the worm squirm as he questions the leftist hack Mark Zuckerberg about his company, their attacks on conservatives, and their policies. Zuckerberg not only shows himself as a despicable tool of the left, but not a very well informed one, considering the magnitude of the company that he runs, regarding even the simple matter of its status under the law.
Senator Cruz gets directly to that issue, asking Zuckerberg, “Does Facebook consider itself a neutral public forum?” The vile little twerp responds with a coached answer, saying, “Senator, we consider ourselves to be a platform for all ideas,” not even coming close to answering the question. Cruz isn’t deterred, saying, “Let me ask the question again, does Facebook consider itself to be a neutral public forum, and representatives of your company have given conflicting answers on this. Are you a First Amendment speaker expressing your views or are you a neutral public forum allowing everyone to speak?”
Zuckerberg struggles to avoid answering, going to the safety of “we don’t allow terrorists” or the subjective “hate speech” and nudity, anything that “makes people feel unsafe in the community,” again refusing to answer the question. Cruz interrupts his filibuster, saying, “Again, it’s just a simple question. The predicate for section 230 immunity under the CDA is that you are a neutral public forum.”
He asks a third time, “Do you consider yourself a neutral public forum or are you engaged in political speech, which is your right under the First Amendment?” Zuckerberg looks like a six-year-old who just had his bag of Halloween candy stolen by the bully next door. He says, “Well, Senator, our goal is certainly not to engage in political speech [but merely to silence the speech of others we disagree with].
He admits that Cruz knows more about the scam that he’s running in his organizational structure, saying, “I’m not that familiar with the language of the law that you speak to, so I would need to follow up with you on that.”
With the weasel now clearly in a defensive posture, Cruz continues to lay his transgressions against conservatives bare in the public forum. He says, “Well, Mr. Zuckerberg, I will say there are a great many Americans who I think are deeply concerned that Facebook and other tech companies are engaged in a pervasive pattern of bias and political censorship.”
He then addresses “numerous instances” of Facebook attacking conservatives and diminishing their reach from 2016 to the recent strangling of “Diamond and Silk,” treatment that has run many conservative voices out of the arena of ideas, people simply are not shown their content, share buttons don’t exist and they don’t get published to timelines. Efforts to favor leftist, mainstream media over the opt-in selections of users are Facebook policy intended to remove conservative views.
The seat gets hotter after Cruz questions Zuckerberg against that backdrop as to whether any page of Planned Parenthood, Soros’ MoveOn.org or any Democrat candidate has ever been taken down. Zuckerberg says he’s not aware. That’s because there are none for him to be aware of. It doesn’t happen.
Cruz reads a quote from Zuckerberg’s prepared statement we also addressed specifically in an article yesterday, which stated, “It is not enough that we just connect people. We have to make sure those connections are positive. We have to make sure people aren’t using their voice to hurt people or spread misinformation. We have a responsibility not just to build tools, to make sure those tools are used for good.”
Cruz asks, “Mr. Zuckerberg, “Do you feel it’s your responsibility to assess users, whether they are good and positive connections or ones that those 15-20,000 people deem unacceptable or deplorable? Again Zuckerberg crawls to the shelter of fighting terrorism as his excuse for attacking conservatives and not answering the question.
Cruz flipped the cockroach over on his back. He wiggled and struggled, but couldn’t get away. Now it’s up to Congress to step on him.
