“Repurposing” dangerous psychiatric meds to “ease symptoms” of COVID19 is a cynical marketing ploy

There can be no doubt that restrictions placed on personal liberties over the last few months will have taken their toll. The natural fears that have gone hand-in-hand with unprecedented circumstances may have led to mental difficulties for some people.

A helping hand or a listening ear may be just the tonic to get those people back up and running. Psychiatrists however see it differently. They have been promoting the idea of an increase in the number of referrals to mental health services. This has resulted in a move by the pharmaceutical industry to capitalise on the human concerns and misery.

At least two antidepressant drugs are being tested to supposedly ease the symptoms of COVID-19. There’s no humanity or altruism connected with this dubious practice. It’s a brazen attempt to generate business through the practice of “repurposing” existing drugs for new indications, an enterprise that would create huge profits if the altered use for COVID-19 was approved.

There’s also the day-to-day cost of psychiatric drugs. The price of one commonly prescribed antidepressant in the UK called Sertraline has hit new heights. The cost of the drug has increased more than 800 per cent during recent times, an elevated price that taxpayers will be expected to cover.

While the highly-inflated cost grabs media attention, it’s vital that the side effects of this drug category are in full view. Spin doctors work overtime to play these down, but when the side effects include suicidal ideation and suicidal behaviour, the spin doctor needs to be really good to play down the potential of fatalities while convincing members of the public to keep taking the pills.

Psychiatrists openly claim that benefits of the drugs outweigh the risks. If side effects include feeling emotionally numb and suicidal, it’s hard to see how that could be the case. When seeing the inflated price of the drug, it would be more accurate to say that profits outweigh the risks.

Mind-altering psychiatric drugs produce nullifying effects on people which are then hailed as being ‘demonstrably effective.’ The person witnessing these effects thinks the drugs are ’working’ when in fact, all that’s happened is the person has been drugged, and is exhibiting the effects of a dangerous mind-altering foreign substance in his or her body.

The willingness and dedication to expose the damaging effects linked to psychiatric ‘treatments’ is aligned with the idea that honesty is the best policy. The current psychiatric operating basis however is far from honest.

If you ever find yourself in a position where you are offered a psychiatric drug on any pretext, you have a right to be fully informed before you give your consent.

Knowing the real  truth about psychiatric drugs and being able to see through such trickery is in your very best interests. So arm yourself with knowledge. With that in mind our international organisation has made it as easy as possible for you to look up the side effects of any psychiatric drug and check its potential for harm before you take it. You can use the Psychiatric drugs side effects search engine any time you need.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
