ER Editor: We’re keeping eyes open for the presence of military on our streets, as regular readers will know. Military have been reported in around 27 cities / states in the US. The Prigozhin fake mutiny, designed to drain some of the Russian swamp, put military on the streets in Russia. Now we have evidence of French military helping out with some of the rioting in the Brittany/Bretagne city of Lorient on June 30/July 1. We’re not sure how accidental this is, nor if it hasn’t been replicated in other parts of France. Rumour has it that the French military have threatened to intervene if the rioting isn’t brought under control.

This video is allegedly of French navy personnel helping out in Lorient, but we can’t verify it.

The Le Figaro report, linked to below, indicates that the servicemen are marine commandos and marine riflemen. Of note:
Several videos, viewed by Le Figaro, attest to the muscular arrests of rioters, handcuffed with greenhouse-flex, and who scream their innocence shouting their innocence, who hand them over to law enforcement.
A dozen young people hooded, hooded and dressed in sports clothes indeed arrested rioters in Lorient, a naval base where marine riflemen and marine commandos are stationed. “Who are we? These Soldiers have therefore acted as fully responsible Citizens and should be commended and rewarded for their saving actions.
This initiative of soldiers in Lorient, if it is confirmed, brings us several elements of reflection likely to reassure us,
First of all, can we blame citizens for taking the place of the shortcomings of the State in terms of French security?
Security is the first sovereign mission of the State. State which has failed in this mission by letting hordes of savages attack businesses and even police premises. We can therefore only salute these soldiers who have demonstrated a “normal” sense of their duty to the Nation and the People of France.
In addition, it demonstrates that the rank and file soldiers are beginning to act out their opposition to the destruction of France and the French people by a timorous hierarchy under Macron’s orders.
We will closely follow this affair which, in normal times, would have earned the honors of the Republic.

A command investigation was opened by the Ministry of the Armed Forces after the participation of soldiers in a group of anti-rioters who intervened alongside the police during the riots in Lorient, on the night of Friday June 30 in Saturday July 1.
An employee of France 3 Bretagne (ER: TV channel) had noticed him alongside the police facing the rioters in the city center of Lorient. A hooded group of about thirty anti-breakers came to lend a hand. Among them: soldiers, confirm our colleagues from Ouest-France.
4,000 soldiers from the French Navy are present in Lorient. Contacted on Wednesday, the Forfusco (Maritime Force of Fusiliers and Commandos) explained that it
“had no factual elements concerning or not the participation of some of its members in this action” and that “even if the maintenance of the order is not within the scope of intervention of the Armed Forces or our Force, elements of Forfusco may have participated in this group on a personal basis without the hierarchy having been informed beforehand. No unit has been engaged either formally or informally.”
Under an assumed name, a soldier explained to our colleagues the reasons why he had spontaneously participated in this action. (ER: Browsers will translate into English. You have to login to this site to see beyond the beginning of the report.)
For her part, the central commissioner, Géraldine Papassian, Deputy Departmental Director of Public Security in Morbihan, confirms
“that no person arrested and/or obstructed has been handed over to the police. The four arrests that evening were made by our agents. And none exchanged with this “alleged group”.”
What role did this group play?
The riots that night led to the arrest of four individuals by the police. What was the role of the military in this context, did they themselves deliver rioters to the police or hinder people?
According to article 73 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, in cases of flagrant offense punishable by imprisonment, any person has the authority to apprehend the perpetrator and bring him before the nearest judicial police officer. However, Forfusco specifies “that it will verify the facts internally”. Disciplinary or penal sanctions could be incurred by any soldier who has committed an offence.

An administrative command investigation was opened by the Ministry of the Armed Forces after the participation of these soldiers in the group of anti-breakers, the ministry confirmed to us this Wednesday morning.
