A Washington Post columnist advised the need to ‘burn down the Republican Party’ in 2019.

That’s right. You read the quote accurately. The statement goes far beyond where any journalist should go or anyone for that matter. It’s a terrorist threat against the Republican Party. When the buzz subsided, no expulsion – amnesia cozily settled in. If this was a Conservative? Pack up the laptop and exit — deservedly so.

We’re all riding the political wave of retaliation — presuming that the venom discontinues. This has been open-ended since 2016 — fatiguing all of us. When political leaders swap jabs, zilch happens. The losers are the people as their voices are snuffed out by in-fighting in Congress and social media hardihood.

Let’s rewind to last year when Dem Congresswoman “Maxine Waters” targeted Republicans.

“Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

Nothing was done. Except by her supporters.

It worked. The Left hijacked culture, media and is crushing main street.

The virulence is unimaginable.

When we or any person can’t eat at restaurants because of political ties — it’s discrimination. If a Conservative can’t speak up at an American college campus or place signs in their yards in opposition of the Left out of fear of retaliation — we’re headed into a precarious place.

Astonishing is Left-wing bullying taking root in America. This article isn’t about provoking violence like those who are inflammatory in the public square. The fact that people differ in their opinions doesn’t make a person evil — that’s fiction. Leftism, not liberals, assume a person is racist if they differ opinions from you.

They are also much more coordinated, more vociferous and exceedingly active in producing changes. The vitriolic smokescreens are rouses to divert and drum-up animosity.

Today’s Guest on MOTR:

Author of book – The Battle for Main Street: How to Reclaim America’s Heritage, Daniel Venturino, is not the conservative culture commentator you’ve come to expect. He’s equally unafraid, calling the left to task for their radical support for abortion as he is challenging the right to do more to combat America’s opioid epidemic. His pastor’s heart gives him a uniquely informed perspective in commenting on the intersection of faith, politics and culture. The things that divide us, that fuel the nation’s culture wars, did not start with men and women of faith and conservative conviction. MOTR talks with Venturino about America, politics, and the trends that should concern us today like: How can we live out our Main Street Values in these unprecedented times?

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
