NY & CA Governors Order New Lockdowns, Curfews, Restrictions
All this, despite the fact that deaths and ICU numbers are at normal levels for this time of year.

Starting [today (Fri) ], the state of New York will impose new lockdown measures to supposedly protect residents from the coronavirus. According to a new list of decrees handed down by Governor Andrew Cuomo (D), this includes limiting private gatherings to only 10 people, as well as requiring all bars and restaurants to obey a new 10pm curfew.
Regarding his new authoritarian regime, Cuomo stated, “The rules are only as good as the enforcement. Local governments are in charge of enforcement. There are only two fundamental truths in this situation: it’s individual discipline and it’s government enforcement. Period. End of sentence. I need the local governments to enforce this.”
California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom is following suit as his state announces a new raft of COVID restrictions.
