Ra Ra Rasputin
Commentary by: Bill the Butcher
“I hear the old ghosts rising like they did before,” wrote John Fogarty I “Dejavú,” And indeed they do. Seems the older the ghost, the more likely they are to rise. People look for patterns. Connect the dots. Make it work out, make it make sense! Sometimes you have to dig back into the annals of an old religious charlatan, bent on personal gain and glory, and paste him on top of someone who has clearly bitten off more than he can chew.
And that gives us Vladimir Putin. Strutting down a long red carpet, that seems to get longer with each yard lost in his determination to bend Ukraine to his will. So, add a touch of mythicism to the whole thing and voila! You have a raised up, cleaned up, Rasputin, the mad monk! And social media is virtually saturated with the combination of the two, implying that there is some psychic connection between a twenty-first century dictator and a twentieth century Bible thumper.
And people fall for anything. Here’s a couple facts for ya. Russia, for all its red carpets and goose stepping soldiers can’t beat a bunch of meth cooks with a tap dancing president. All they do after conducting the not a war for coming up on a year is drop their guns, steal cars and threaten nuclear. Even the Chinese are sitting out this one.
Now, I’m not saying that wars cannot be won by psychological BS, they can. And, it’s downright entertaining at times. Big country jumping all over a little country, to the tune of the Rasputin Song. Hey! That’s some heady stuff. But, after the Ruskies began to run out of bullets and the Ukrainians began selling their old tanks for scrap it got a bit old.
And why do they want Ukraine anyway? Warm water port? Ok. I feel ya, but you got all that oil money coming in so rent it! The ol’ Hitler Grab don’t work no mo’. Everyone looking for the so called New World Order well here it is. China isn’t giving up one iPhone sale for Putin’s dreams of glory. Mao Zedong is rolling over in his grave and Steve Jobs is laughing in his. The old order changith!
This land grab has been centuries in the making. No matter who wins it will have absolutely no effect on the west. As soon as we, the New World, start being the New World again the sooner we can slap all these wannabe despots, religious nuts, and history deniers down and get back to working toward a brighter future for everyone without archaic political ideas from way back when, hiding from viruses that have always been there, and poisoning the planet with fake vaccines.
But, the world is waking up. Today a man was hung in Iran for making “War against God!” Who said? Some pakeyaté running the country who looks like this guy up at the top of this article. The riots in Iran are over women’s rights. In China, the people revolted when the government tried to lock them down just a little bit more.
It has been four years since the world went mad. Do you remember where you were when the barbershop closed? How about when the toilet paper ran out? And all in all nothing really changed, now did it? Nobody really cares how many Chinese die. There’s enough of ‘em left. The should’ve stopped eating bats! Who gives a damn if Russia runs over Ukraine. They’re all Russians anyway. It’s time for the West to get back to Western business, and forget about the rest. They should have got on the boat back in 1620. That ship sailed long long ago.
What do we stand to lose? Everything! There are insidious people standing at the ready to take all that we, the west, built over the last four hundred years. They couldn’t build it. They stayed home. But they were double quick to take what we had. The very idea of something like China being a world economic power! Give me a break.
We need to move past the false images. We need to dig in and show the world who we are. We are The Americans. We took on North America with a hatchet. We don’t give it all away to some little twerp with a long red carpet who thinks he’s some kind of mystic. They start their world wars, we end them.
Stand up. There ain’t no free lunch, and if there was we’d take it. There also rans all over the world are in the spot they found themselves in because they put themselves there. Let’s not dig them out this time.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
