Syria Obeys US-Israeli Orders, Arrests Palestinian PIJ Officials

On the orders of Washington and Israel, the new “Provisional Syrian Government”, led by Al-Qaeda/HTS/ISIS terrorist ’emir’ Ahmed al-Sharaa aka Al-Jolani, has arrested two senior members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) organization.
According to a statement issued by the Al Quds Brigades, it’s been confirmed that Palestinian resistance leader Khaled Khaled, who heads the PIJ operations in Syria, and Yasser al-Zafari, who heads its political organisational committee, were both taken into custody five days ago by the regime in Damascus.
An official from Syria’s Al-Qaeda/HTS run “interior ministry” have confirmed the detentions, but refuse to say exactly why the pair had been arrested.
However, it’s well known already that the Trump Administration, at the behest of Israel’s embattled PM Benjamin Netanyahu, are issuing demands on the new Al-Qaeda government in Damascus as a precondition for lifting crippling US and EU sanctions on Syria which were imposed during the previous Syrian government of Bashar al-Assad. Last month it was reported that the US have issued the Syrian regime a list of orders to comply with, in exchange for partial sanctions relief, including taking out any alleged “Iran-backed” Palestinian groups – actions to be taken clearly on behalf of Israel.
According to former British diplomat, Craig Murray, Syria’s terrorist leader and self-appointed ‘President’ Al-Jolani, has privately assured the UK that Syria will “normalise ties with Israel,” thus, formally recognising the illegal occupation state, and even exchange ambassadors by the end of 2026.
According to Washington, the PIJ have to be eliminated because it had joined its ally Hamas it its military operation against Israeli occupation forces on Oct 7, 2023, and therefore must be captured, dismantled and destroyed in order for Israel to ‘feel safe from further terrorist attacks.
In addition to US and Israeli demands regarding stamping-out any Palestinian presence in Syria, the new Al-Qaeda/HTS/ISIS leadership in control in Damascus have also cut diplomatic ties with Iran – the hope that this will attract western dollars for the new Wahabi regime.
The new Al-Qaeda ‘provisional government’ in Syria appears to be more than willing to help Israel achieve its Zionist goals in exchange for short-term potential financial benefits, and more importantly – as a condition by the US and Israel to allow the regime to remain in power in Damascus.
For years, Israel has carried out illegal strikes against what it claimed to be PIJ targets inside Syria, including a building struck last month on the outskirts of Damascus, which Tel Aviv claimed the PIJ was using as a “command center”, although no evidence was ever provided by Israel to validate the allegations.
