Giving critical historical context the occupation today, this timeline explores the creation of the state of Israel and how it came to cover so much land since. From the early settlements, to the Nakba, to it’s conquest of the West Bank, revealing the brutally honest roots of what is behind the so-called “Israel-Palestine conflict.”

Many years ago, my history teacher told me, and the rest of the class, that Judea was a Jewish province, governed by the Roman occupying forces. Tired of trying to quell Jewish attacks on the Roman occupation forces, the governor, Hadrian, he who had the wall built in northern Britannia when Emperor, decided to insult and humiliate the Jews by changing the name of the province to Phillistinia, after the Phillistines, the main local enemies of the Jews. Over time, this became Palestine, recognised as such by other nations, though Judea, or Israel, remained the traditional home of the Jewish people. Slightly off topic, apparently, DNA tests on Palestinians have linked them very closely with North Africans so, if this is correct, this is another reason why they should not be there.
