This Little Girl’s Unbelievably Powerful Speech on Abortion Left Her Pro-Choice Teacher Speechless

Preface by: Lucille Femine

I watched this video this morning given by this young Canadian girl and put everything else aside, even my half-starved body. It is one of the most moving, emotion-producing presentations I have ever seen. I didn’t see so much a child, although that was incredible in itself, but what comes across so powerfully is a passionate crusader for human rights – in this case, the fight against abortion. Many women decided not to abort after seeing this young girl speak so eloquently and with so much honest conviction.

This amazing girl, blooming with wisdom, says that most women regret having abortions and suffer much emotional distress. Not only that, sometimes they are so physically damaged by abortions, they cannot conceive after that.

If this video does not drive a powerful wedge into the complacency that has hit this country and the world, I don’t know what will. We are destroying our planet and our very future by killing (the true term, not abortion) thousands and millions of babies each year, as if they were meaningless masses of cells rather than their true status: human beings. We need to be aware of how low moral standards have sunk, due mostly to propaganda in the media and all manner of suppressive forces working hard to ‘enlighten’ us that we are worthless and that life is little more than dispensable.

Watch this video and consider how many valuable humans, powerful spiritual beings, may have contributed so much to this planet, had they been allowed to live. In addition, there is no such thing as over-population; that is just one more piece of propaganda put out to justify doing away with “too many people.”

Let’s take a look at the derivation of the word abortion: it originally meant “miscarry.” Now, in the course of many thousands of years, words change their meaning. So it looks as if the word “abortion” went from meaning an unintended expulsion of a non-viable fetus to mean a deliberate killing or murder of a fetus. Could this altered definition have come about through a decay in moral beliefs and practices?

However, we can always change the course of this downward spiral, reflected so visibly in the acts of outright murder. This atrocity has even been extended to “post-birth abortions.” You see, nothing stays the same – they get better or they get worse.  In this day and age, we are getting worse, unless we make a concerted effort to turn the tide in favor of real survival where babies are allowed to live. That’s a good a place to start as any.

When 12-year-old Lia wanted to speak out against abortion for her school’s speech competition a few years ago, her pro-choice teacher disqualified her, claiming that the topic was too controversial. However, once she heard the speech and realized Lia’s amazing command of the topic, she changed her mind. Lia went on to win the entire competition.

If you’re opposed to abortion for Biblical reasons, that’s fine. But as Lia points out, there are also scientific and philosophical cases to be made. If you’re pro-choice, that’s fine as well; just hear this little girl out, and decide what you think is the right choice.
