Fear about the financial future has been talked about repeatedly for decades. Americans have seen some good times and some really ugly times, two that come to mind are the depression and the 2008 bubble. We are facing another challenge, the fear of the change that came about with ObamaCare and planners who are releasing forecasts of another 2008. Often, unless people see a direct correlation on the economy and how it directly affects their pocket, the chatter remains just that.
In this episode, guest Anthony A. Saccaro discussed what has happened in the economy, the current state, and what may be to come- or at least what we need to know, both with the economy as a whole, and what can make a difference to individuals.
The market over the past decade has not had an overall good rate of return; however, knowing the right financial advisor such as the guest on this episode has given a good rate- 5-6% makes a significant difference.
Current changes, in your favor, have to do with the Department of Labor acting in the best interest in the investor (went into effect on June 9, 2017). There is also the change that may be coming with the new presidency. This in essence is described as why this can actually be a good thing. Is this something you have heard about? Well, it is really not being discussed much in media. Saccaro breaks down why this can be “a good deal” for Americans and also shared how protecting principal and earning a decent rate of return for clients, has been a long-term goal for him.
