Donald Trump Didn’t Lie About Where He Was after the 9/11 Attacks, But Hillary Clinton Did

The liberal media has egg on their faces for claiming that Trump lied about being down at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks. Despite video evidence that has been floating around on the internet for years, they just couldn’t help themselves. It’s curious, however, that the candidate that they all wanted to win in 2016, Hillary Clinton, actually did lie about where she was on 9/11 in order to insert herself into it.

In an address Tuesday evening in Sanford, Florida, Hillary Clinton said: “I was in New York City on 9/11 as one of two senators. I will defeat ISIS.”

Except she wasn’t in New York City. She was in Washington, D.C., as Congress was still in session. The next day, as transportation allowed, Mrs. Clinton traveled to New York to access the damage with then-Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. She then worked as a senator to get benefits and aids for 9/11 victims.

Mrs. Clinton’s use of 9/11 on the stump has come under attack by Mr. Giuliani, who has insinuated Mrs. Clinton is stretching the truth when it comes to her role during and after the attack.

“Don’t tell me if you said that you remember Sept. 11, 2001. I remember Sept. 11, 2001,” Mr. Giuliani said at a campaign event in Ocala, Florida, last month.

“Yes, you helped to get benefits for the people who were injured that day,” Mr. Giuliani said of Mrs. Clinton. “But I heard her say she was there that day. I was there that day, I don’t remember seeing Hillary Clinton there. That was like when she said she had to run through gunfire. That turned out to be — what do we call it? — a lie.”

Even CNN called her out on this one.

Hillary also made up a story on NBC’s Dateline to Jane Pauley about her daughter Chelsea jogging near the Twin Towers when the attacks happened.

CLINTON: She’d gone, what she thought would be just a great jog. She was going to go down to Battery Park, she was going to go around the towers. She went to get a cup of coffee and — and that’s when the plane hit.

PAULEY: She was close enough to hear the rumble.

CLINTON: She did hear it.

This bogus story was contradicted by Chelsea herself.

But Chelsea Clinton wrote a first-person article for the December 2001 issue of Talk magazine, about that horrible morning. Here, Chelsea said, “On the morning it happened I was at my friend Nicole Davison’s apartment, near Union Square in Manhattan. That morning we had gotten up and grabbed coffee, and then she took the subway to work while I bought a paper and headed back to her apartment. I had just walked in when she called from work. A plane had just crashed into the World Trade Center, she said. I should stay put and she’d call me back when she knew more. I turned on the television and watched as the second plane hit.”

But, you know, Trump’s the liar, or something.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
