CannaTalk Presents: The Liberty Beacon Strain … A Qualified Review

From the beginning: As a Baby Boomer … Suffice it to say I had experienced Cannabis (marijuana, pot, reefer, gonge, grass, etc…) in the past, having grown up during the historical days of the hippy’s, peace-nicks and stoners (early 1960s – mid 1970s), this was to leave a lasting impression on me, but not the one I would eventually have. After high school I immediately enlisted in the US Navy and eventually took my place in the nuclear submarine fleet for about 8 years. After that I did a couple of decades working DOD contracts for the Military Industrial Complex (Raytheon) … YEA NONE of this was very conducive to Cannabis use!
AND ALL WAS GOOD IN WHOVILLE
I say this because it was something that I had to refrain from if I wished to keep my well paying and influential job … So I did … and I never even really thought about it … UNTIL about a decade ago when I launched The Liberty Beacon Project (TLB) and it’s predecessor, We The People Network (WTPN which morphed into TLB). At this point I was not working for anyone, depended on no one for my living, and could spend many hours daily reading and researching … and I had an Epiphany … I was in fact VERY Ignorant (not stupid, yea they aren’t the same thing)! But how could this be? I have a high IQ, I am technically competent, world traveled, and educated so … ? The total answer to this open ended question is not for this presentation or forum …
… but as it pertains to Cannabis … YUP !!!
At this point (about 10 years ago) my thoughts on Cannabis (I had not delved back into the green yet) were generic as in, bad for you, causes cancer, gateway drug, sign of a looser, etc…, you know, what we are taught (programmed) to think. But I was exposed to a close friend with stage four cancer, and the chemotherapy was literally sapping the life from her. So I began researching Cancer and holistic/homeopathic or natural treatments … and guess what I fell into face first … YEA CANNABIS … and the research, peer reviewed studies and expert scientific testimonies began to stack up until I needed to freaking pole-vault over them to get around.

But it didn’t stop there because I was learning just what this miracle plant could actually do for humanity, for those not only suffering from cancer (Many Millions) but also PTSD, stress management, pain, inflammation, and the list is actually quite extensive. These are not guesses, but as I was discovering, facts artfully hidden from the general public for years, decades, generations by greedy corporatists and pharmaceutical companies … to the tune of how much needless suffering and death?
Let’s also discuss the fact that the largest demographic in today’s prisons are non violent, victim-less, minor drug violations (mainly cannabis) that can get an individual up to ten (10) years in a “For Profit Prison” while many (proven) crooked politicians never see a day in jail… WHY?
And believe me I could go on describing the abrupt awakening, and all concerning a plant I used to smoke with my friends just for a great evening, with NO other associated thoughts … but that perspective is gone now.
This was my awakening and I was PISSED! Since that point and over the last decade, I have written many blazing articles and done countless shows trumpeting these uncovered facts, my newfound knowledge.
But how does this apply to me … my personal story …
I have recently (last decade) lived in an environment filled with constant pain and stress. Granted to a large degree (with emphasis on the stress) this is of my own doing … but the ends do in fact justify the discomfort … or so I thought for years.
The constant pain is as a result of one minor auto accident some years ago and three motorcycle dumps (to avoid a head-on collision) in the back hills of Arkansas. All three motorcycle lay-downs were to the right side, no broken bones but constant nagging joint pain (getting worse over time). For this I initially sought and got, prescription pain killers … which I dumped almost immediately because they would not allow me to function at the level required to complete my daily tasks.

The constant (unrelenting & mostly self inflicted) stress is a result of founding, expanding globally, and participation in (article & video publication), The Liberty Beacon Project (TLB) … A Global network of independent websites and journalists … Unfunded and Void of monetary influence, thus allowing us to research and report the truth as we know (unless you live under a rock) the Mainstream Media (MSM) won’t! The constant stress of figuring out how to accomplish all or any of this without the influencing power of money is a daily lesson in creativity and stress management!

So why have I brought any of this into daylight?
Just over two years ago I met an individual with a natural ability to convince … to grab your attention and run with it. His message was a double edged sword … Medical Cannabis on one side … and … wait for it … the Constitution on the other side … A virtual perfect partnership! Who is this individual? His name is Daniel Louis Crumpton (DLC) and he is the Public Relations Director for an organization (California Collective) called CannaSense Total Wellness (CTW), and I am the collectives Media Director. So for all the years I had done without medication due to its debilitating side effects or addictive nature (opioids) for either max stress or constant pain, or living in a state where it was not even possible to consider cannabis due to existing laws, it was explosive to even consider it was not only possible … but after being shown its foundation in existing law and the Constitution, it was obviously very doable in all 50 states!
Well I/TLB was in! And I must say that my first experience was magic … no I am not grandstanding here … Imagine living with constant pain and stress for almost a decade, with no letup … and all of a sudden … It shuts off like someone just threw a switch … with no toxic side effects, no possibility of addiction, and no chance of overdose …Try to imagine this … Unless you have experienced it yourself, your imagination will always fall far short. And after a few well deserved tears a smile broke out like I had not experienced in a long time, and my thoughts immediately jumped to … if this can improve my life by so much … just imaging what it can do for so many others. Well that same very convincing person also invited me and The Liberty Beacon Project to help get a great collective back on its feet (again another story) and help spread its message … Well DUHHH …
… and now you are almost up to date … but not quite …
I want to start wrapping this up (my part) by saying what an honor it is working with the CannaSense Total Wellness Directors which include Daniel, Stephanie, Dave, Ron, and I. These are some of the most concerned and selfless people I have had the pleasure of working with in a very long time (FACT easily proven) !!! But my biggest reason for putting all of this together is to announce another honor they have bestowed by dedicating a new strain of medical cannabis as … wait for it … (LOL) … The Liberty Beacon, now exclusively in the CTW apothecary.
Before I turn this over to the Oh So capable hands of DLC and CTW Please allow me to share my first impressions as a layman unencumbered by labels. I received it. I had not medicated in anticipation of its arrival. I medicated. I went back to work unencumbered by the constant pain of aching joints or stress, or drowsiness … and I was able to be productive (a lot of smiling though). BUT … I am disciplined at this because of what I do … and I did find out enough to know that if I had done just a little more … well I constantly tell y’all that The Liberty Beacon can Kick some Ass when it needs to … YEA well OK it would seem the gift, the honor, bestowed upon TLB is well suited to its namesake, Many Thanks CannaSense Total Wellness (CTW)

*Hybrid strains occur when expert breeders select the best sativa and indica strains and crossbreed them. Hybrids are frequently bred with other hybrids and can be sativa or indica dominant. So, depending on the dominant strain, they will have similar effects to their dominant strain.
