Luca Majno is not someone I just met or have a glancing relationship with … Luca is a friend, a staff member of TLB, and has been for about four years now. So anyone who does not see that the friendship factor trumps (pun intended) just about all in the discussion you are about to listen to … will soon come to that realization!
Imagine you are sitting in your doctors office having just undergone a thorough examination, waiting for him to update you on what you’re already imagining is not a good scenario …
The doctor enters and in that medical monotone begins to give you the most devastating news you have ever listened to in your life …
You have two forms of aggressive cancer and we will need to remove at least two of your organs …
Now having been associated with TLB and also being the inquisitive person that he is, Luca cringed as he listened to what the doctors had to say next …
We are going to start you on intensive chemotherapy immediately and for the next three months, then we will reevaluate the situation.
Again anyone who follows TLB health articles (especially the rants I have written) knows that as soon as you are diagnosed with cancer, you immediately become worth $250,000 or more (most time much more) to Big Pharma via chemotherapy … a process/procedure that has less than a 7% success rate … to put it more bluntly … a 93% (or better) failure rate. AND the chemicals used do more damage to the body over the long run than the cancer.
So Luca and I (I was Luca’s first call after his prognosis) bumped heads together trying to figure a path he can take that offers better than a 7% chance of success, and does not trash the rest of your health in the process. We came up with, and Luca decided on the following …
