The swamp creatures have figured out that the best way to get people to panic is to have your fellow swamp creatures in the corporate media run headlines telling people not to panic.
This can be dovetailed neatly with the basic capitalist modus operandi of “create want”.
So if they want to bump up their sales, say, of Christmas turkeys, they get their chums in the media to run stories urging people not to panic about the possible Christmas turkey shortage that might happen unless it doesn’t.
People then panic and rush out and buy their turkeys in early freakin’ October. The rush for turkeys causes supermarkets to run out of turkeys. People see the shelves empty of turkeys and panic so the next delivery of turkeys quickly sells out too.
So now the turkey shortage is evidently real and the self-fulfilling prophecy is . . . er, fulfilled.
The price of turkeys goes up due to the good ol’ principle of supply and demand. So the big turkey corporations and their financiers make a killing which is good news for them but bad news for the turkeys (both the human and feathered variety).
This is not a dig at the entrepreneurial system of production and exchange, which is sometimes loosely but probably erroneously referred to as “capitalism.”
It is a dig at the dishonest manipulative scumbags who have corrupted it and feed upon it like parasites.
I think there are two types of “capitalism”. 1.) The ethical variety whose captains and broad membership behave like decent human beings and give a crap about others and in which honest production is revered and rewarded – and which, incidentally, is the only form upon which a thriving civilization fit for good people to live in can be built.
2.) Criminal capitalism whose captains are vicious parasites incapable of contributing anything to the human race and whose system bleeds the rest of humanity dry.
All this is rectifiable if men of good will can get together and, basically, bang up the criminals.
I was going to say “don’t panic” but I guess I had better not.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
