Welcome again to Episode #25 of the Eagle’s Eye Report. This episode is Hosted by myself with Co-Host and Producer Stephen Roberts. The title of today’s show is … MSM & Trust – Opposing Forces. The intent of this weekly show is to be a mechanism for communicating the truth and facts in a country increasingly forbidding of these very concepts.
No, as I say weekly, this not a pleasant way to introduce a show … but today reality is blatant and not very pleasant in many aspects. Thus the reason, and intent behind the Eagle’s Eye Report.
Our mission is to keep you armed with the vital truth, as well as to present you with a platform where you can discuss these vital issues without fear of censorship or exclusion, that being the sponsor of this show … TLBTalk.com.

Preface: The word Democracy is used several times in the following show, so before anyone freaks and states we are a Constitutional Republic … NOT a Democracy … I Agree … but we are governed via a Democratic process (in most cases, majority rule) thus it can be stated that our form of governance is Representative Democracy.
Show Intro:
Lets start off today with an explanation or an understanding of just what the place and importance of the mainstream media is, or was supposed to be in America …
The Fourth Estate: Our founders considered the media to be a form of check & balance on government and its actions in support, or against We The People. A mechanism to keep us informed of the truth, to prepare us, and allow us to push back against tyranny!
This indicated a distinct separation between the press (media) and the power and influence of the US government (Legislative, Judicial, & Executive branches)… something that has all but disappeared. Today a vast majority of what is considered Mainstream Media undeniably serves as a puppet or a willing partner of all things Progressive or Liberal in America … by default making them … The Fourth Branch!
Although examples of “Corporate Media” (the “Mainstream Media”, or the “MSM”) influencing the mindset of We The People to serve those exercising power, goes back well over a century, one needs look no further than the last few elections cycles to understand the scope of this reality … and it is mind bending !!!
So, for our form of self-governance to work, we need a robust and responsible news business. Its role is to hold authority accountable and allow an informed public to make educated and well-reasoned decisions. This is the very reason a free and independent press is protected by the Constitution. But our MSM has run wildly off the rails.
It is now a very true assertion that the MSM is no longer a purveyor of truth, but rather a developer of narratives — and they’re shameless about it, calling such narratives “fake but accurate.” The facts may be wrong, but the story supports the chosen or assigned narrative. This media no longer informs the public. Instead they mislead it to satisfy ideological objectives. The MSM has become an industry of propagandists — no longer facilitating self-governance, but instead undermining it.
… and this is just the opening salvo …
