From Gas Attack to Missile Attack … Ron Paul Speaks out on Syria

By: Roger Landry (TLB)

Anyone who remembers the previous presidential election cycle of 2012, and who is a serious Libertarian or freedom and rights advocate … remembers Dr. Ron Paul (and will never forget the rigged system). Congressman or Doctor (which ever you prefer) Paul was like a trusted uncle who you took advice from because he oozed obvious wisdom. Dr. Paul was not always the most elegant or polished of speakers and often himmed and hawwed trying to get a point across … but when that point was made you automatically took several things for granted, it was sincere and it was the truth.

From End the Fed to End the Wars Dr. Paul has had a consistent message for over three decades … unlike his multi-polar congressional companions who espoused to the rhetoric that pays the most or affords the most influence and power. A message that survives the test of time requires consistency and a fact base, or it quickly evaporates into thin air as does the message and credibility of so many bought and paid for Faux representatives.

Lucky for us after about three decades of serving We The People Dr. Paul did not fade of into obscurity as so many useless or puppet career politicians should and do, but instead continues to fight the good fight by informing and educating We The People … Or as we at The Liberty Beacon Project like to say … Eradicating Programmed Ignorance!

What we present here are two videos laying out Dr. Paul’s ideas and thoughts on the alleged use of toxic chemicals (gas) by Assad, and the missile attack authorized on the Syrian air base by President Trump. We will not taint this by offering our opinion … that is readily available in other articles on The Liberty Beacon.

We now focus the spotlight on Dr. Paul, his co-host and guest.

Syria Gas Attack: Assad’s Doing…Or False Flag?

April 5 – Just days after the US Administration changed course on Syrian President Assad, saying he could stay, an alleged chemical weapon attack that killed dozens of civilians has been blamed on the Syrian government. Did Assad sign his own death warrant with such an attack…or does some other entity benefit?

US Bombs Syria – National Security Or Aggression? With Guest, US Rep. Thomas Massie

April 7 – President Trump sent 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria yesterday in retaliation for what he claimed was a chemical attack on citizens by President Assad. He sought no Congressional authorization and presented no evidence to either Congress or the American people to justify his actions. What happens next, as Trump opens wider the US military involvement in the Middle East. US Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) joins today’s Liberty Report in studio to discuss:

  1. With no apparent plan for what comes next and with no legal authorization, Donald Trump unilaterally and recklessly launched
dozens of Tomahawk missiles to strike Syria. This is not leadership and it will not make our country safer nor end the tragic human suffering in Syria.

Trump cannot bomb his way to peace. If he were truly concerned about the human suffering in Syria, rather than sending a few dozen bombs, he would be leading the world in a diplomatic effort to end the war, increasing American support for humanitarian assistance, and welcoming Syrian refugees to the safety of America.

Instead he just launched an illegal and unauthorized escalation that could have devastating consequences, prolonging human suffering in Syria, and undermining American security.

The Constitution is crystal clear. Only Congress can authorize the type of military force the President just unleashed on Syria.

There’s no doubt that Bashar al-Assad is a brutal dictator who has slaughtered his own people and is complicit in the use of numerous war crimes. But these military strikes are no humanitarian mission. These American bombs will not end the war in Syria and they will not ultimately hold Assad accountable for his murderous brutality.

But we must reject the false choice that says “accountability” can only be found at the tip of an American bomb. The simple truth is the U.S. cannot bomb its way to peace in Syria. If Donald Trump truly wanted to help the victims of this tragic war, he could easily reverse his plans to significantly cut federal funding that goes towards alleviating the humanitarian crisis. And if he really believes that the deaths of small children in Syria is an “affront to humanity,” he would immediately rescind his executive order blocking those same children from finding safety from the ravages of war by coming to the United States.

  2. Donald Dump didn’t just step in it; he wallowed in it and splattered US all…I’m off the Donald Dump Train too.
