It’s not just Trump being blamed, competing networks use shootings to suggest silencing Fox News

Fox News remains in the cross-hairs of the radical left in the wake of two shootings last weekend that claimed the lives of 31 people.

…the criticism coming from the networks that struggle to compete with Fox News.

As much as the left ignores that the Dayton, Ohio, shooter was a self-described “leftist” who favored Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., for president, they work even harder to call attention to the El Paso, Texas, shooter’s anti-immigration manifesto in an effort to pin that shooting on President Donald Trump.

While Warren gets a pass in the media for the Dayton shooting, there are reports the El Paso gunman was also an environmental extremist who embraced Eco-Fascism.

Having commandeered language in America, the liberal media deems words used to describe the flood of humanity overwhelming our border, words like “invasion,” to be racist. Or calling attention to the manipulation of immigration to artificially alter voter demographics in America.

The goal is to shut down debate and silence the opposition… or target a formidable competitor.  [Click on link below]

Citing the language used by the El Paso shooter, MSNBC host Ari Melber called out  Fox News hosts, who he called “Trump allies,” Tuesday for saying illegal immigrants staged an “invasion” — keep in mind, thousands of Central American migrants took part in caravans that marched on our southern border.

“Battles over how to handle immigration often turn on the words we use,” Melber opined. “Undocumented versus illegal. Asylum versus anchor baby. Some words can be offensive because they are dehumanizing or worse. Donald Trump adopted the inflammatory language of ‘invasion’ and the El Paso shooter echoed that language from Trump.”

That exact argument could be made about the Antifa member shot and killed while trying to firebomb a Portland immigration facility — he used the term “concentration camp,” popularized by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., to describe detention facilities.

Melber goes on to split hairs in making a ridiculous analysis of the term “invasion,” before accusing Fox News hosts of voicing a white supremacy “replacement” theory, having also deemed the word “replace” to be racist — which is to say they are calling attention to the left’s efforts to manipulate voter demographics.

He runs clips of Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Lou Dobbs to support this assertion, suggesting that Fox News is using its powerful megaphone to contribute to “something more akin to a war footing.”

Reading from the same script, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes made the same accusation on his show, saying there is “no distance” between the El Paso gunman’s rhetoric and what is seen from Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Brian Kilmeade.

“This has been a staple of Fox programing for years now,” Hayes said. [Click on link]

Angelo Carusone, president of hard-left, George Soros-backed Media Matters, linked Fox News to the fringe site 8chan, which was shut down this week after publishing the killer’s hate-filled screed — this being part of a tactic employed this week to shut down Fox News for the same reasoning, First Amendment be damned.

“There is a straight line from these chans and some of these other message boards right through to Donald Trump and his campaign’s messaging and communications, and that line goes right through Fox News,” Carusone said.

He went on to attack Fox News viewers.

“If you took that screed, that manifesto and you put it in a Fox host teleprompter like Tucker Carlson or Ingraham or Hannity and they were to read this on air, the audience would not be shocked or surprised or disturbed and that tells you all that you need to know,” Carusone added.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
