There Are No Words

There Are No Words

Commentary by: Bill the Butcher

There are no words. You hear that often. When something happens so horrendous that the mind cannot fathom it you’ll inevitably hear someone say, “There are no words.” But, there are words. Anguish, heartbreak, loss. And these words are forever imprinted on the minds and hearts of the survivors.

Uvalde! Now, like so many other places, that, too, is engraved in the national consciousness. Like Sandy Hook, Luby’s, and the tower at The University of Texas. But, Uvalde is not like the others. It’s not some middle class town from somewhere up north, or a university in the center of a sprawling metropolis or a cafeteria five miles from one of the largest military bases in the world. It’s a sleepy little village in southwest Texas full of people who have been there since Santa Anna came through on his way to the Alamo. American people. Texas people. People who didn’t jump the border. The border jumped them!

Who understands madness? What makes someone shoot his own grandmother and then proceed to go and shoot little kids. There are no words. I’m not going to put his name here. I’m not going to post any pictures of the children. The pictures of those babies are secured by the greatest copyright in the world. The grieving families left behind. I don’t have the right to put their pictures here.

There will be words eventually. As the politicians gather to debate gun control. Biden may come down. Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton now? Oh, that’s right. Wrong color. No money to be made. So it’s left to Texans to care for our own.

And they are our own. Every precious little boy and girl who fell before a mad man. The senators will debate gun control, the cops will dig for a motive, but the good people of Uvalde will just dig graves, and in a week you won’t hear another word.

Today I went to the store to buy cigarettes. On the way I passed a school. I saw children walking in single file going to the school gym. Tears fill my eyes, and I thought there, by the grace of God, go we! There’s some words for you!

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)

  1. Bill Butcher should also concentrate of how this broke kid managed to buy these very expensive weapons, truck, ammo, etc The police stood down. no one was allowed in. This whole shooting stinks to high heaven. Amazing how all of a sudden we have a spate of mass shootings when the Biden is parroting the confiscation of all guns. The Parasitical class is scared stiff of riots while Americans can still protect their families against paid security forces.
