President Obama’s kid-glove treatment of ISIS is apparently merely a symptom of systemic distortions of the truth regarding the terror organization.
Obama’s intelligence committee has been altering reports on ISIS.
The whistleblower’s claims, that have now been backed up by a joint task force, maintain that the U.S. military reported a wildly different success story when speaking on the subject of skirmishes with ISIS, which, in fact, were not going particularly well.
“’What happened at CENTCOM is unacceptable — our warfighters suffer when bad analysis is presented to senior policymakers,’ Rep. Ken Calvert said. ‘We must continue our efforts until we fix it.’
“Rep. Mike Pompeo (Kan.) told CBS This Morning ‘there’s enormous evidence about how this information from talented career professionals inside the analytic arm at CENTCOM did their job and accurately depicted what was going on on the ground, but when it got to very senior levels, that information was changed.’
“Wenstrup, a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve said ‘we still do not fully understand the reasons and motivations behind this practice and how often the excluded analyses were proven ultimately to be correct. We cannot win the war against ISIS with incomplete intelligence.’”
Having this information distorted at the highest levels indicates a massive coverup of information in order to downplay the threat that ISIS actually maintains to be. By downgrading ISIS’ threats, the U.S. government can focus on ill-conceived domestic policy without the interruption of citizen’s inquiry into their own safety against global terror.
