This is the Premier episode of the VOTE, Victims Overcoming Traumatic Events, This Program brings three incredible women who have moved beyond setbacks to empowering others.
Fiona Havlish, an Inspirational Speaker, Success Coach, and Author of “In Full Voice, shedding the labels that silenced me,” talks about having emerged through “being invisible” to speaking out because of the 9/11 tragic loss of her husband Don. She takes us through the devastating step by step discovery and realization of Don’s passing and how she pieced things together through what she heard and saw on the news. She shares how “shock allows you to function.” With a nursing background, Fiona came to realize early on that many, who had lost a love one, would want to not want to get out of bed, and how vital it was for her to help them to get up and get moving. www.fionahavlish.com
Janie Terrazas, co-creator of the “The Love Coaches, Inspiring and Building Loving Relationships,” shares how the transformation of her own relationship brings “hot, happy, and harmonious” relationships to those she and her husband coach. She discusses taking a hard look at ourselves to discover the work needed moving one into a position for having a healthy relationship. By not taking this approach, Janie indicates we will continue to have relationships that do not produce the result that brings the happiness we are looking for. She also shares how balancing the use of each side of our brain creates the balance that makes harmony exist. Moreover, we need to determine what we truly want. For example virtue, integrity, and behavior that match what is spoken. www.thelovecoaches.com
Peggy Sealfon, Author of “Escaping Anxiety”, shares how we do not have to suffer in our trauma; we have a choice to make a change. Peggy talks about the variety of techniques that bring results through an integrated life plan developed on all of aspects of our life. These aspects are as unique as each individual; therefore she not only tailors tools for individuals but has a master list of them in her book. . She believes we are all connected and are a resource for each other. www.peggysealfon.com
