For any who regularly follow The Liberty Beacon Project, you have probably heard of, or listened to, the TLB Show “Giving Our Children A Voice” hosted by myself and co-hosted by Karrie the Puck (a burgeoning movie star and an avid basketball player). Well the next step for my partner in this new show is that we are now both co-hosts. And since I cannot, in good conscience continue calling Puck a kid or a child, and we are looking to see her talent and understanding reach a much larger audience … SHA-BAM … We now present ZOOMERS 2 BOOMERS.

ZOOMER

For many of you listening, understanding the gen Z or Zoomers title is rather simple because many of you are either living it, or are exposed daily via your children. But for those who are not familiar, here is a basic rundown via Wikipedia:

Generation Z (or Gen Z), colloquially known as Zoomers, is the demographic cohort succeeding Millennials and preceding Generation Alpha. Researchers and popular media use the mid-to-late 1990s as starting birth years and the early 2010s as ending birth years.

BOOMER

Next we have the term Baby Boomers or Boomers, this is a little more hidden in history (some as much as 80 years). So here is a basic rundown via Wikipedia:

The term Baby-Boomers (app. 1946-1964) refers to a noticeable increase in the birth rate. The post-World War II population increase was described as a “boom” by various newspaper reporters.

The first recorded use of “baby boomer” is in a January 1963 Daily Press article by Leslie J. Nason describing a massive surge of college enrollments approaching as the oldest boomers were coming of age.

But I will start this all off, for any who have never listened to “Giving Our Children A Voice”, with an opening that has also graduated from the original show (well … mostly).

If you think that our teens and young adults don’t have Questions, or Answers? Think again !!!

To say that they don’t have any ‘understanding’ of what is transpiring all around them, to say they don’t have relevant opinions that would help us to define their outlooks and attitudes, to say they are too young to to have a voice … is just plain wrong, and we are about to prove this in again today with the premier of this new show.

I will state again … If you were asked what is the most important generation today, and answered anything but “Our youngsters” then your self interest and ignorance are now on full display. These teens, and young adults, are what will remain well after most of us have departed this world … What are we leaving them? Once again, how well are they being prepared for choreographing humanities future …

The intent of this new show is to help bridge the thought process and understanding between our younger generation and the senior generation, thus the title Zoomers 2 Boomers. Also to hopefully make understanding and communicating between us more comprehensive, prolific and commonplace … if we can find a way to talk more … understanding will draw us closer together!

So going forward this forum, Zoomers 2 Boomers, will be a platform for discussing and reporting on issues that affect us all … but with a special emphasis on how the issues impact us all … from the Zoomers to the Boomers!
