THE LAND BEYOND THE SKY

THE LAND BEYOND THE SKY

Commentary by: Bill the Butcher

And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

I study serial killers. The psychotic, sociopathic monsters that prowl our darkest streets and wilderness areas searching for prey among our weakest and most precious members of society. And I don’t find them fascinating, or interesting. I’m not looking for a cure. What an oxymoron. To find a “cure” for a monster who kills a teenage girl and has sex with her dismembered head for weeks until he can no longer stand the smell? What kind of twelve step program fits him?

No! I look for common strands in the psychopathy so we, the prey, can identify these animals and dispense of them before the exact the cost that no one wants to pay pay. By any means necessary!

And that, too, is an oxymoron. If we kill the monsters do we, then, become the monsters? That is indeed a degradation of society but what’s one little girl worth? And what if our measurements and indications are wrong, or even just a bit off? Our criminal justice system is designed to punish crime after the crime not before. But just look at the reaction of the right over Red Flag laws.

Society is compromised of strata. Like the layers in the Grand Canyon. From the soft sand along the banks of the river to the hard granite at the rim, and it all has use and it obeys God’s laws put in place when he carved it out of a rather mundane prairie. The Grand Canyon would not be nearly as grand if it were a plain filled with fainting goats on a hot summer morning.

Society is much like that. Each member of that society having a place and a purpose in the strata of society. Each member fitting in, maybe not totally harmonious with all the other layers, but with a reason for being and a distinct use.

There is a picture. It speaks volumes about what I just wrote. A picture of a marine, sitting at a tiny table in the woods having teatime with a little girl. A little girl serving fictitious tea to a soldier trained to kill silently with a bayonet. A perfect image of a synchronized society in perfect harmony with God’s plan. The marine in his dress uniform. His little host in her dress. Consider how much better that society would have been if that marine had been able to to his job before Ted Bundy killed that little girl in Florida! Think about that. Take all the time you need.

There is a test. It is a psychopathy spectrum test. It measures the level of psychopathy in non-institutional subjects. There are forty questions or points. A psychotic answer to a question scores a point. A score of twenty-six indicates the subject bears watching. Then there are convicts who have scored a forty. And they live among us on parole!

What should we do with a “Twenty-six?” Try to “understand” him? Show him the errors of his ways? Take him to church and hope he finds Jesus before he robs the Poor Box? Give him a driver’s license with no restrictions or, out of allegiance to the Second Amendment, sell him an AR-15 with a complimentary box of bullets? You tell me!

Then there is Mr. Forty! What to do? An extended stay in a halfway house? Job training? Perhaps giving lectures to high school kids about the cost of being a criminal or a job as a janitor in a day care center. I mean, he’s paid his price to society, right? Or on the other end of choices, have that marine come in behind him while he’s waiting for the results of his test and send him to the land beyond the sky with that bayonet. My personal choice, but then that’s just me. I like little girls. Not like that! Sit your asses down!

But you see the dilemma? The division of the strata is not clear cut. And who sets the standard? The point spread cited above was decided upon by the originator of the test. What if the AMA decides to do a reset on crazy, crazier, and craziest? What if “Bears Watching” becomes a fifteen. Or maybe even a ten? We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory. So what is your score? A one? A two? You can’t be “a little bit pregnant. And what if it’s decided a “five” is deemed to be “malignant” psychopathy? You’re ok now but the day ain’t over yet. The AMA is like the government when it comes to changing its mind. And forget about those whackadoodles who put out the new, improved DSM every year. Minor attracted anyone?

But the song remains the same. We do have a problem, and with the fallout from the pandemic (another gift from the AMA and WHO with a side order of wannabe vaccines) the problem is exasperated. There are crazies who are crazy on a normal day. Just imagine them after being locked up for two years with all their demons. For their name is Legion, and there are many!

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
